• Reduced Barriers to Entry for New Competitors
• Security
• Revenue Leakage
In line with these challenges Core2Africa has developed a structured approach to best manage them: S-N-A-A-P
Core2Africa Product Focus
Core2Africa promotes, sells and implements Extreme Networks switches. All implementations are conducted using Core2Africa Professional Services, following a Structured 7-Step End-to-End Approach, and supported by Core2Africa Maintenance & Support Services.
X460 G2 Series
The Extreme Switching X460 G2 Series is based on Extreme Networks revolutionary ExtremeXOS, a highly resilient OS that provides continuous uptime, manageability, and operational efficiency. Each switch offers the same high-performance, non-blocking hardware technology, in the Extreme Networks tradition of simplifying network deployments through the use of common hardware and software throughout the network.
The X460 G2 switches are effective campus edge switches that support Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE ? IEEE 80 2.3az) with IEEE 80 2.3at PoE-plus and can also serve as aggregation switches for traditional enterprise networks. The X460 G2 series is also an option for DSLAM or CMTS aggregation, or for active Ethernet access.
X465 Series
The Extreme Switching X465 Series is a premium stackable switch family providing high-performance, convergence-ready, resilient and secure Gigabit and multi-Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Powered by ExtremeXOS, the X465 Series offers sophisticated routing and switching, high-speed stacking, modular uplink options, advanced PoE, and comprehensive security. This makes the X465 Series an ideal choice for high-end wiring closet and network edge deployments.
The X465 Series includes both 24 and 48-port 1Gigabit models, as well as multi-rate models with 1, 2.5 and 5 Gigabit ports for connecting a range of edge access devices.
X440 G2 Series
The Extreme Switching X440 G2 Series is a scalable cost-effective family of edge switches powered by Extreme Networks ExtremeXOS, a highly resilient OS providing continuous uptime, manageability and operational efficiency. The X440 G2 series switches provide high-performance routing and switching, flexible stacking, PoE-plus support, and comprehensive security while extending the benefits of ExtremeXOS to the campus edge.
The X440 G2 Series easy-to-use, yet powerful, management services include role-based policies for controlled access to specific network applications. Select X440-G2 Series switches can also be cloud-managed via ExtremeCloud™, Extreme Networks innovative single-pane subscription-based management solution.
G670 G2 Series
The Extreme Switching X670 G2 product family provides high density 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 40 Gigabit Ethernet switching in a small 1RU form factor. With its versatile design, the ExtremeSwitching X670 G2 provides high-density Layer 2/3 10Gb networking with low latency cut-through switching, and IPv4 and IPv6 unicast and multicast routing.
This enables the X670 G2 to be flexibly deployed in enterprise aggregation or core backbone environments. The X670 G2 can additionally serve as the controlling aggregation switch within Extreme’s Extended Edge Switching solution.
The X670 G2 supports 4 different methods of stacking:
- SummitStack-V
- SummitStack-V80
- SummitStack-V160
- SummitStack-V320
